Southern Elevator Company, Inc. owned by Rodney Pitts since 1991, was founded in 1949 by M.B. Toler. Over the years Southern Elevator has evolved from practically a "one man show" to one of the largest independently owned elevator companies in the Southeast. We service elevators - all types, sizes and brands. We have two primary types of service contracts:

Full Maintenance –

A plan which covers almost everything that is a result of normal wear and tear. We will service the elevator equipment regularly and repair or replace any item covered under the contract – for no additional charge beyond the monthly fee.

Exam & Lubrication –

For a reduced monthly fee, we will oil and grease the equipment, make minor adjustments and report any potential problems we see to the  owner. We will also provide a quote to make repairs that may be required

Our technicians are highly trained, both technically and in safety.    Each technician must go through industry training and successfully pass the industry’s national certification standard test.  Weekly safety meetings keep our technicians abreast of the latest safety procedures.
